Fantastic!Feb 21, 2012
By Tiffany Crandall I've taken this 7-keto supplement for the past six months along with 5-htp, 50 Grams (1.77 Oz) 5 HTP Griffonia Seed Extract Bulk Powder. Besides losing ten pounds over this time, which doesn't sound like a lot but believe me it's huge, I also have been able to maintain a steady level of energy, been sleeping better, and have had not felt depressed since I began this regiment. I know this may not sound great to anyone but for me it's been amazing. I've suffered from insomnia the better part of my adult life, have always been lethargic and had low energy (even in those rare cases that I did sleep) and i've been diagnosed as clinically depressed more times than I can remember. I love these supplements and totally won't stop taking them any time soon!

Side Effects were a bit muchApr 02, 2012
By Jamie Silva I belief this product would be more effective for me if the side effects were not present. There was slight appetite suppression in a good way but I also experienced slight headaches that lingered and then stopped once I stopped taking the product. Also had frequent urination, which was more than usual and not to mention annoying. My goal was to lose 28 pounds in six months, plenty of time with proper diet, exercise, and supplementation. Well, after using this supplement for 3 1/2 weeks I was down 2 pounds and just couldn't take the side effects any more so I stopped it completely.
On a lighter note, I did begin taking Primaforce Max CLA 90 Softgels + Free 25 Grams Raspberry Ketones Powder which I've been on for two weeks and have already lost 3.5 pounds so I am pretty happy with that. One word on the raspberry ketones, its really good for energy, fat burning, and appetite suppressant but be careful because it is still a stimulant so start out with a small amount and work your way up. I did this myself, and don't have anything negative to report.

By D. Browning People who are complaining that this product has no affect on them should consider the following:
A. Are you continuing to eat unhealthily, and/or stay sedentary while you take the product? If so, you will probably have little to no affect when taking it.
B. Are you drinking enough water during the day? Taking ANY thermogenic requires that you up your water intake, and if you are not up to par in that area, you will probably feel terrible during the day experiencing headaches, dry mouth, GI pain or issues, etc.
C. Are you really giving it a try? Did you come expecting an instant change in BF% and after two days of the same weight wrote a review that it didn't work, or did you consistently take it at the same time everyday for at least a month and still have no results? There is no miracle cure to fat loss, despite what anyone will tell you, it takes hard work and lots of dedication to get into the body you want. In my experience with 7-keto ( as well as about 9/10 of my friends that take it regularly) it will increase your core temperature and speed up your Basal Metabolic Rate. However, that's not going to give you results instantly, and it won't give you results at all if you don't stick to it.
Now, if you've read over this all and you're still having no luck, I'd look into some other alternatives, because body chemistry can affect how well supplements will work.
My Story:
I had never used a thermogenic before in my life, but I had just came off an intense 12 week workout routine and had lost a lot of weight and figured I'd try it out and see how it worked. I tried a few different products with 7-keto in it before buying it in a stand-alone format(i.e. every chemical inside has a set volumetric value), and I found that I liked it better without a bunch of additives and various other chemicals in the proprietary blend. I started my 12 week program around 225lbs, and finished around 210-212 with around 16% Body fat. I then took 7-keto for a month straight, one pill in the morning before a meal with water. I ate a very low fat and high protein diet, and did 1 hour of intense cardio per day. I had a noticeable difference in sweating, and I urinated slightly more, but did not find it pestering. I could definitely feel every workout I did, and after 1 month I weighed in at 200.2lbs @ 13.9% body fat.
Side affects experienced:
Headaches(due to inadequate water intake, vanished within about 30 minutes of drinking a bottle or two) Diarrhea (Occurred the first few days, after that it went away, eat solid food after you take the dose and you'll be fine) stomach upset(More so experienced when I didn't drink enough, but also related if you're not eating solid food after you take it i.e. protein shake) Sweating (pretty much expected as your core temp is raised) Jitters (Eat solid food after you take the dose, never experienced much after that) Being hungry all the time (This is the only reason I gave it -1. I am always hungry, and I do wish I had a little less than than, however I've found a few other products with 7-keto in it that fix that, and it doesn't take away from how well it works.)
If you're experienced any of these more than usual, you might either be taking too high of a dose, not eating solid food after you take it, or might be taking a medication that is causing rapid meatbolism of the drug and are basically overdosing.
I can say that I have overdosed on it(accidentally) and it's not fun. So if you're urinating like crazy, have really bad headaches, or feel like you're on amphetamines, I'd suggest cutting the dose lower to try and find the right one, or finding another supplement.
I don't consider my story amazing, or even something that people will look at and say "there's no way I can do that," because it's very much possible. For me, it helped make the most of every cardio session, and helped continue the burning when I was at rest without eating into my muscles. My diet was far from perfect, but it's all about how much you put into it, and in the end I'm very satisfied with what I got out, and I'll still be using this product for months to come, whether from NOW or another brand.
I hope this helped all of you, and maybe will give you an idea of what to expect when you use it, and some troubleshooting if you're having problems!

NOW is the only brand of 7-Keto DHEA I've used for the past 10 or 11 yrs since I first learned about this supplement. It has always been the only brand I could find that supplies 100mg per capsule & at the lowest price anywhere.
I have borderline low thyroid with low basal body temperature & symptoms I've been complaining about for years. My PMD never cared to address it since my blood tests came back normal (according to established medical guidelines, which I believe are not sensitive or accurate enough). When I first learned of this product (I was 28 then) in a health book, I took 1 pill twice daily on an empty stomach & within 8 wks it took care of my low-thyroid symptoms (which were: feeling cold, low metabolism, slow elimination, low energy, slow healing of injuries, low mood, lack of motivation, loss of drive, weight gain, difficulty losing weight, constantly feeling tired, increased appetite, & strong carbohydrate cravings). I took this along w/other supplements while eating well, exercising regularly & getting adequate rest. I then stopped taking it for a number of yrs (got tired of swallowing a lot of pills every day) until now (I'm 39 now) - I just restarted again since I now have more symptoms of further endocrine/hormone imbalance (think low-thyroid symptoms + pre-menopause symptoms + adrenal burnout)...that's what happens when you let a chronic high-stress life interfere w/appropriate selfcare. But I know 7-Keto will help (along w/topical progesterone cream).
This is a great product I can vouch for from prior experience & I'm glad it's available & affordable. It supports not only the thyroid but the entire endocrine gland system (they are all interconnected & interrelated). I was tired of all the other brands only providing 25-50mg dose when the 100mg caps were exactly what I needed.

Wasted my MoneyApr 02, 2012
By Barb62 I purchased this product because it was touted to help with energy and weight loss. It was recommended on the Dr. OZ show and I was hopeful it would work. But for me in had absolutely no impact--can't tell a difference whether I take it or not. Save your money before buying this one.
