Questionable Ingredients IMHOMay 25, 2011

This is a good tasting protein that is cold processed as to not damage ingredients but then the makers add Carageenan to the mix. Let me say that I am not a scientist, researcher or in the medical field, but in my humble opinion Carageenan is a questionable ingredient due to its POSSIBLE link to gastrointestinal problems and maybe even Cancer. I emailed MRM to see what they said about the ingredient and I received a very timely response to which they basically said Carageenan was safe because they use food grade Carageenan and not the degraded Carageenan, which is linked to GI problems/Cancer and that their food grade Carageenan has been thoroughly studied and proven to be safe.
I must give them credit for EXCELLENT customer service and a very timely response - without this ingredient I think they have a great product.
Regardless, I strongly advise you to do your own research on Carageenan (both degraded and undegraded food grade) if you are considering using any product that contains it.
I am not saying use or don't use this product, all I am saying is that I won't continue using this product and want people to know that they should do their research.

By T. Williams I've been using Whey Pumped for about six months and highly recommend it. I particularly like that it does not contain any artificial sweeteners but still manages to taste great. In addition, it certainly has helped me become much leaner and stronger at the same time. I'm hooked.

By J Turner This protein powder is better tasting and had more "fluf" quality than any other I've tried and I've tried at least four other kinds. The vanilla flavor is sweetened with stevia and makes my smoothies just a little sweeter and yummier. This also thickens or flufs up my smoothies.

I especially like it because it's low in carbs and uses Stevia for a sweetener instead of the other more chemical alternatives. I usually buy the Rich Vanilla because it is so versatile. I add a lot of cinnamon (good for you!) and it tastes delicious, especially when I mix it with hemp milk. I've made it for my friends who only eat things based on good taste, and everyone has loved this product. When I ordered it from Amazon.com, I found that it was about half the price, and with my Amazon Prime free two-day shipping, it made it very economical and quick to receive. I plan to order ahead of time before I run out to be sure I always have this product on hand for our morning "shakes".

This might be my first review ever on Amazon, even if I have been buying stuff from here for a long long time. I just wanted to say that this protein tastes amazing! Really. I put a scoop in 4 oz of water and it's great. If I put more water, i personally think it becomes too much water for the protein. So for every scoop, put only 4 oz. I did not even try with milk, which I can only guess tastes even better.
The reason I bought it in the first place is that it contains protein from cows not injected with hormones or anything. So it's clean. It's also filtered on low temperature, which keeps the protein close to its natural state.
About the results. Well, I just started taking it, so I can only comment on taste. But even then, protein is just protein. If you want to build muscle, you have to eat a lot of it during the day. There isn't a magical one that will make your muscles that much bigger than others. Maybe if there was more stuff added to the powder, like creatine or something, but there isn't in this product.
