Smells great, works perfectly, and serves as hair gelMar 07, 2010
By Michael Nobles I have used Aloevera for years. I tried this because of the lack of artificial chemicals and ingredients. It smells wonderful and has a great texture. I use if for sunburns and bruises infrequently. The main reason I bought it is to use it as a hair gel. I'm trying to reduce chemicals in my personal hygiene. This works perfectly and I don't need to use any hair spray.
I would recommend it to anyone.

Bad Sunburn? Bug bite?Jan 16, 2011
By James A. Staff I found this product to be good many years ago in Georgia. You put it on immediately after a sun burn,a burn or a bug bite. When it drys, put more on. Your burn or bug bite will dissipate quicker. This does not contain alcohol, and is more pure aloe. That is what you want to do for your burns or bites. Many cheaper products have alcohol in them, and are not quite as effective as pure aloe. If you have a severe burn or bug bite with negative reactions though,see a doctor. When I moved to California, I couldn't find it locally and ordered it off of Amazon!

By Nancy This truly is one of the best aloe vera gels out there! It helps heal all types of skin problems. I bought it to use on the eczema that I have on my hands and it soothes the irritation immediately. I also put it on cuts and scraps to help them heal more quickly. I love this product. I have been using it for a couple of years and will continue to use it in the future.

By naturemom Try this if you get a 1st degree sunburn that looks like it could blister and peel. Slather it on and let it dry on your skin 2 - 3 times over the next 24 hours. Most of the redness and any pain will be gone by the next day. My kids and I have only had a few sunburns over the last couple of years (we're pretty good about wearing sunscreen these days), but none of our burns have blistered, peeled, stung or itched since we started using this product! I love it! And I love its herbal scent too. It's hard to get the kids to let it dry on them, but using a hairdryer or bribing them with video game time works well enough.

By NoirPerle I bought this for my hair and skin. The bottle says,..."producing a superior blend to moisturize and soothe dry irritated skin." This is not accurate so I'm giving this 1 star. I put the gel on my hair which made my hair dry and frizzy. I put the gel on freshly washed hands and it dried my skin as though there is alcohol in the gel. My opinion is based on being a licensed cosmetologist. I would not recommend this to a friend.
