It's Magic!Sep 08, 2008
By Bryce Hooker Spilled Olive Oil on a brand new pair of suede shoes. Nothing I tried would remove it. Vinegar, corn starch and Dawn left it unchanged. I found one reference in an extensive Google search to Citra-Solv. Soaked the top of the shoe and rinsed it really good with water and no trace of the stain remains! Next, I put it full strenth on a paper towel and easily wiped the black marks made by my laptop rubber feet off of a vinyl tablecloth. Several household cleaners had previously failed to remove the marks.

The original and still the best!Jul 26, 2008
By Judy S. I have used this product for about 25 years and nothing works better! It's clean, green, and mean on goo. The strong orange scent takes a while to dissipate, but it is not "chemical" smelling or repulsive. I have tried other products [when I couldn't find this one at local stores], products like "Goo Gone" and "Simple Green," but all are inferior to Citrasolve. You won't be disappointed with it.

one of my favorite cleanersAug 01, 2009
By natural woman I have used this over 10 years and it is one of the few cleaners I need..can use it on nearly everything..full strength I use it to remove stains from counter-tops instead of toxic bleach as it is all natural..It works on nearly everything but the most difficult on the Formica.
The only caution is do not use it straight on plastic as it melts plastic. The smell is great. I something use it and then toss the wet cloth/rag I used for cleaning with it in with my other rags and they come out clean and good smelling.
It lasts a long time and works so well. I just love this product and also blue magic for carpet stains but I have used this diluted to shampoo carpets before I found blue magic. I like that this is all natural and safe to use and yet tough.

Citra-Solv Natural Cleaner and DegreaserSep 22, 2010
By Russell Dember I use Citra-Solv "Natural Cleaner and Degreaser", which is an orange peel oil based water soluble cleaner for cleaning tubular tire (a.k.a. sew-up tire) glue off of aluminum bicycle rims. It takes an hour and a half of repeated applications, rubbing and rinsing to get all of the dried glue dissolved in the cleaner, and then that sticky mess dissolved in the water and washed off of the rim but it definitely does a thorough job.
The first step is to spray a few drops of Citra-Solv WITHOUT WATER onto the dried rim cement between two spoke holes and rub it a few times with your finger and / or finger nail, and go around the rim doing one section at a time. By the time you get to the starting section the top surface of glue will have softened up a little so spray a few more drops on (WITHOUT WATER) and rub some more and go around the rim again. You will need to go around the rim at least eight times this way to get the glue completely dissolved in the Citra-Solv. At this point you will have created a real sticky mess on the rim, spokes and your hands. The second phase is to dissolve this sticky mess into water, it will not just rinse of with a hose. So you spray a LITTLE water on a section or two and spray some Citra-Solv into the water and rub a few times. Notice that the Citra-Solv / water mixture turns white, which is an indication that the Citra-Solv is dissolving in the water and not just separating and gumming up. After you go around the rim each time rinse it off with a hose. You will need to go around the rim probably another eight times repeating this water first Citra-Solv second, then rub and rinse routine. The final step is to use a small sponge with Citra-Solv dissolved in water to get the last of the sticky feel removed and then do a final rinse off with a hose.
Avoid getting the cleaner on the decals on your rim because it can damage or remove them. I have not tried this process on graphite / epoxy (carbon) rims.
non-toxic, pleasant smell, economical and effectiveSep 18, 2011
By Mamamia I've been using Citra Solve for years, and a bottle lasts a longggg time. It is highly concentrated and works well even when very diluted. I use Citra Solve on my walls, counters, appliances and even on the floors. I love that it's natural and smells good. BTW,it's also great for killing ants in the kitchen.
