Lifesaver!Mar 11, 2010
By Monica M. Dewart as a person with severe celiac sprue, I have multiple nutritional deficiencies. Getting the proper nutrients, in the proper formulations is the only choice I have! My life depends on it! When it comes to getting the right kind of B12, I have only one option: METHYLcobalmin. (most are cyano) This is the only product that is readily available in the right formula at the right dosage (not to mention, the right price!) My life depends on it, and I am grateful for it.

Dissolves like flour, but works fineMar 20, 2011
By Nicole These tablets are different than any other B12 sublinguals I've ever used. I'm used to tablets that dissolve like candy, like PEZ or Sweet Tarts (for lack of a better description). However, these tablets dissolve more like flour, leaving a little mushy lump under your tongue.
The tablets I've used in the past are all Cyanocobalamin, not Methylcobalamin like these, so perhaps that accounts for the difference. It's not that big of a deal as long as it works, but it's a much less pleasant experience.

One of the few with no Corn!Apr 26, 2011

Zimmerman This is one of the few B12 vitamins that advertises NOT to include many common allergen substances, including Corn...which is rather rare, as corn is not yet recognized as one of the big allergens (on most food items). Other than that, they dissolve quite quickly. I can't rate their effectiveness as I haven't had a blood test in a while (but I certainly don't feel worse for taking them!).

By topazgirl Yes, it's great that it's in a readily available form: Methylcobalamin. Yes, it's great that it's sublingual since pill forms that go thru the gut lose up to 90% of their effectiveness. Yes, it's in a 1000mcg size.
The only problem is...it's a terrible, "childrens" cherry flavor. And pink to boot. When you put it under your tongue it will turn your teeth pink..and later on, your toothbrush. I hate any unnecessary colors, though the bottle makes no mention whatsoever of colorings or flavorings.
I would much prefer a natural color. Maybe the taste was such that it had to be covered up, but can't they do better than explosive kiddie CHERRY?
I will look for something different next time.

Helped me find my energyDec 07, 2010
By Lisabeth Pearson This product helped me. I was having stomach problems and feeling really run down. I suspected I was having problems absorbing B12 and wanted an alternetive to B12 injections. I am now feeling back to normal, the sublinguals really help.
