For my first child I wanted a soap that contained less toxic chemicals than traditional baby soaps found everywhere. I settled on Burt's Bees Buttermilk Soap and Shampoo Bar. The shampoo bar was a phenomenal value as it lasted forever, but must have been discontinued as I have been unable to find it anywhere in over a year. I am expecting again and ordered three soap bars which appear to have shrunk in size from when I used them previously. It still smells great and has a toxicity level on the lower side according to the EWG cosmetic database Skin Deep, however it isn't as low as I previously thought. This led me to do some research finding a more affordable, less toxic alternative. No longer a fan.

This is great soap for kids. My daughter has dry skin, and this is mild and gentle. i use it too, it cleans without residue. I don't notice the good smell that others mention. To me it has no smell at all, which is nice after trying so many products with strong scents

By Merrill F. Johnson Jr. This is another part of the Baby Bee line that I love so much!!. This product smells great and I even use it myself when my skin feels dry. My youngest daughter has super sensitive skin and all of the products in the Baby Bee line help her tremendously.

this soap is wonderful. my baby is quite sensitive to soap even with dove unscented he gets little red dots but when we started using this on him the dots went away and he's squeaky clean. it smells so nice too, sweet and milky, just like a newborn baby. this soap is all natural. We also use it as shampoo and it works great but, well it stings if you get it in your baby's eyes.

By DoRin I used this soap on my newborn and it dryed up his skin. I don't know why 'cause it is a buttermilk soap. I even used it on my face and it did the same... So, not very happy about this soap.
