Very good for itchy skinApr 14, 2008
By Suddha Kuyt This lotion works BETTER on my itchy winter skin than full strength cocoa butter! It is a little thicker than most lotions. It absorbs well into the skin.
The reason I got this lotion is because I trust this brand (JASON). They don't put any toxic junk like SLS (sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates) or Parabens in any of their products.
A lot of lotions and underarm deodorants have parabens in them. But I heard that once parabens absorb into your body they mimic the effects of the hormone Estrogen. They have removed pieces of breast cancer that were loaded with parabens! That makes me want to avoid them, just in case they are contributing or causing cancer.
Parabens in products are usually called something like "methylparaben" and you have to look for "paraben" at the end of a long word. Tricky.

They changed the formula, it is no good nowJan 16, 2012
By kmw1958 I used to LOVE this lotion. It was all I would buy. I had a stockpile of it. My stockpile ran out and I reordered. It is an ENTIRELY different formula! It has a terrible perfume smell to it. I am so mad. Now I have three bottles of this I cannot use! Warning, if you haven't bought it in a while, don't get it again, it is not the same lotion at all. I am so very disappointed.

By Jessica Haas I can't live without aloe vera. I put it on every part of my body. Jason Cosmetics is a brand I know and trust. This body lotion is mainly from aloe vera plant and some other good stuff for that added moisture. Great product and value...can't go wrong.

By Joeself This used to be my favorite hand lotion. Great smelling, great moisturizing, great waxy, not greasy, after feel. I ran low on my old bottles (expiration dates 2008 and 2009) so I bought some more. This stuff is awful! It has a strong, nasty chemical smell and is greasy. I don't know if it moisturizes and I don't care. If I hadn't read the label and had to guess, I would guess that this is made in China and contaminated with toxic chemicals. I am actually afraid to use it again. It smells and feels like some kind of petroleum solvent or something. It's very sad because the old stuff was so great. I'm taking it back to Whole Foods where I bought it. I won't buy this ever again unless they go back to their old formula but even then, it's hard to trust them after they've said their formula hasn't changed, not greasy, etc... when that's so obviously and completely false and the truth is the opposite. Yuck! DON'T BUY IT OR AT LEAST TRY IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT (AND I WOULD RECOMMEND SMELLING IT BEFORE YOU EVEN TRY IT). I'd MUCH rather use a non-natural product than this, whatever it is.
