Improves our 5-year old son's immune and digestive systemsOct 21, 2009
By Jared Castle We first purchased Buddy Bear Probiotic in August 2009 to aid our 5-year old son, who suffers from allergies. After two months of use, we can report that the product is working very well. His immune system is noticeably stronger. The other benefit - he is regular (and has a daily bowel movement) - is good news, too.
The only complaint is that this product is not available through Amazon's Subscribe & Save program. Although, when we re-ordered Buddy Bear Probiotic in October 2009, the price per bottle had dropped about $3. We purchased this along with Nordic Naturals-DHA Junior Omega-3 Supplement from Amazon and have since reordered both supplements.
Buddy Bear Probiotic comes with a "natural orange flavor" that our son likes. He takes his chewable bear tablet in the morning before going to school. Rating: Five stars.

By Roberts Mommy My son has been taking these for about a month & he really likes the taste. He doesn't like yogurt, so I give him these in the winter especially when he's on an antibiotic. They seem to work well.

By jilla These taste similar (orange) and have a smoother texture: Lil Critters Probiotic Chews, 30 - you can get them at Target for less than $5 - note you only get 30 whereas the buddy bear gives you 60. The Buddy Bears are very gritty and my kids won't even eat them at all now.

Fantastic, but wish there were more flavor optionsJul 28, 2009
By A. Barker My 4 year old daughter has gotten over 20 UTI's (or had all the symptoms of them) in the last year. She's obviously been seeing a uriologist for this issue. The doctor wanted to put her on a daily anti-bacterial, but I didn't feel comfortable with that until all other less evasive options were researched and tried. The doctor mentioned these vitamins daily, and they have been amazing. She hasn't had any symptoms. I don't recommend these for treatment of a UTI, but for prevention for kids, this stuff has done the trick for us! She's now about 4 months free of her horrible pain, which is a relief for everyone involved! The one and only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because she isn't crazy about the flavor. I wish there were more options.
