I can't remmeber the last time I saw vitamins come in a glass bottle and these do. The pills are large oblong, but they go down smoothly. I assume they are made in New York since that is where the company is located, but it does not say for certain on the bottle. Contains:

1000 mg, Vitamin C

200 mg, Calcium Carbonate

12 mg, Magnesium Oxide

150 mg Lemon Bioflavinoids

10 mg Rose Hips

I take one of these buffered C (1,000mg each; 250 tablets). They're large but go down smooth if you take one with a mouth full of water, juice or buttermilk. In doing a cost comparison, this seems like the best deal on a per gram basis, factoring in the brand Country Life (which has been around forever). If you do a strict cost per gram analysis, you might do better, but if you want a trustworthy manufacturer of vitamins that your gut will absorb (and not pass through your system as waste) then I think you can't do much better than Country Life!

Although the product info for the 100 tablet bottle says Kosher Certified it doesn't list a Kosher Certification agency. Also the product does not have any Kosher symbol on the label. I contacted Kof-K and asked them if it's Kosher and they told me yes, as of August this year they have begun supervising the plant, so if your product was manufactured after that then it is 100% Kosher Certified by Kof-K (www.kof-k.org)

These are large pills, but the time release is certainly the best way to take any vitamin. No complaints at all.
