Like many others, I suffer from seasonal allergies which can become fairly awful when living under a canopy of oak trees. I love the trees and don't want to cut them down so thought I'd give this a try especially because traditional antihistamines either leave me so sleepy that I avoid them or just don't seem to work that well.
At first, I thought these weren't working but had read it required some time so decided to keep taking and see what would happen. Well, not only have they totally eliminated that stuffy/puffy feeling I woke with each morning. No throat irritation, no stuffy nose, no puffy eyes, no more interrupted sleep!
I take after dinner as they tend to give me a very slight stomach irritation on an empty stomach but otherwise, this product is totally AWESOME!

By Chetak I have been using this herb for over two years as a substitute for antihistamines and it is wonderful. As an herb, you have to allow it to get into your system. That takes three weeks to a month. Then, it works much better than any drug out there. Until it gets into your system, you can continue to take your regular antihistamine for the first week or two. After the first three months on butterbur, you might be able to take it every other day like I do.

By M. Whitehead I bought this on the recommendation from Prevention Magazine as a substitute for antihistamines. I went back to my antihistamine the next day. This stuff just didn't work for me!
