Perfectly safe!Feb 07, 2012
By Grace I would like to share that the homeopathic preparation of any homeopathic remedy removes any material dose of the original substance. There is NO arsenic in these drops, as suggested by another reviewer. My friend uses these for her young grandson when he is distraught and they calm him right away.

AhhhhhhhhhApr 14, 2010
By S. Thomas-McNeil I have asthma. Sometimes when my chest gets tight, I have panic attacks. I expressed this to the owner of a little health food store where I live. She suggested this lozenges. They tastes like marshmallows. I use 3 at a time. Suck on those and you will feel their calming effects within about 10 minutes. When I feel a panic attack possibly happening, I hit on these drops. They work great!!!

So glad I found it.Aug 05, 2009
By Amari I stumbled upon this item in a health food store. As I was standing there reading the ingredients on the box the cashier said, "It really works. I even sent a box to my sister who has a lot of kids and is stressed out. It worked for her too." Being in menopause I get a lot of episodes of unwarrented anxiety. So, I thought I would give "Calm Drops" a try. They are so gentle, and they really do work. I don't want to go anywhere without them. I carry a box in each purse and in my car. I shared some with some of my stressed out friends, and they began to purchase them too. I get a little sleepy after taking one, but nowhere near as sleepy as I do with what the doctor prescribed for anxiety. When I am having a miserable menopause night, (hot flashes, can't sleep, and having anxiety because I know I have to get up for work), I take 2, doze off to sleep, and awaken without any grogginess. I recommend this product for anyone who has anxiety or stress. It's not habit forming because I have gone a couple of months at a time without needing them - no problem.

They work for meFeb 08, 2009
By JJ I love this product. If I get upset (which generally means I want to eat to calm down) I can take these instead and they work. I think they are amazing. The only problem, is they make me sleepy, so I don't use them unless I can take a nap or it's in the evening. I will say, that I've given them to friends who saw no difference at all. As I said on a review for another item in this line, I honestly think it was because the friends were already taking a lot of medication. They are worth a try---I bought a case because they work really well for me. I just wish they would make one that was just for comfort and leave out the sleepy ingredient which I think is the chamomile.
Aconite, Viper Venom, Abortions, Etc.May 03, 2012
By WroReview My mother sent me these for my finals. The box looked a bit sketchy, so I checked the ingredients. I realize that the point of homeopathy is to take small amounts of things that cause the same symptoms in hopes of alleviating them, but I do think that the makers of this product are being rather unethically vague about the ingredients.
The first thing on the list is Aconitum Napellus- Also known as aconite or monkshood. Here is what wikipedia says about aconite: Like other species in the genus, A. napellus contains several poisonous compounds, including enough cardiac poison that it was used on spears and arrows for hunting and battle in ancient times.[4] Aconites have been used more recently in murder plots; they contain the Chemical alkaloids aconitine, mesaconitine, hypaconitine and jesaconitine, which are highly toxic.
The second active ingredient is Arsenica Album- This is a derivative of arsenic (need I say more?)
The third ingredient is Calcarea Carbonica- This is ground mother of pearl.
The fourth ingredient is Chamomilla 12X- This is a chamomile extract.
The fifth ingredient is Ignatia Amara 30x- The beans of the plant contain the alkaloids strychnine and brucine. Strychnine is highly toxic, with an LD50 of 1-2 milligrams per kilogram, and was formerly used in rat poisons. Brucine is also toxic, but less so.
The sixth ingredient is Kali Carbonicum 30C- a potassium salt
The seventh ingredient is Lachesis- Also known as Bushmaster viper venom
The eighth ingredient is Natrum Muraticum- Salt
Next comes Nux Vomica- It is a major source of the highly poisonous alkaloids strychnine and brucine, derived from the seeds inside the tree's round, green to orange fruit. The seeds contain approximately 1.5% strychnine, and the dried blossoms contain 1.0%.[1] However, the tree's bark also contains brucine and other poisonous compounds.
Tenth is Phosphoricum Acidium- phosphoric acid
Eleventh is Pulsatilla- Pulsatilla is highly toxic, and produces cardiogenic toxins and oxytoxins which slow the heart in humans. Excess use can lead to diarrhoea, vomiting and convulsions, hypotension and coma. This also causes abortions.
