5best candida (yeast) control product ; really amazing stuffApr 01, 2010
By Tiberius
This is the best product I have ever used. I was seeing results within a day or so of starting it. One way you can tell you have a bad yeast problem (candida) is look at your tongue. Is it coated with white? Then you have a yeast problem and possibly systemic. I am seeing some letup on serious breathing problems that I am having since starting this.

You have to take this on completely empty stomach and then wait a length of time. If you eat or have had a meal then you kill the impacts of how it can do. It is very strict on how you use this. It won't work if you have food in your stomach. Wait at least 2 hours or more after eating and that depends on how much you ate at a meal. I take mine during the night when I know I have an empty stomach and then very early morning and wait two hours. It is very strict and if you don't follow the rules on taking it, you botch the results and see no results. You have to plan how you take it but it is really worth the effort as results are very quick. It has a maintenance program of one pill a day but that could vary between the person and how bad the problem is. It also depends on how good the diet is. Some people have to stay on an anti-candida diet long term once the problem starts and that means, extremely low sugar foods allowed such as the diabetic controls, no fruit, nothing processed, real foods actually and real cooking from cookbooks. The book by William Crook, MD called the "Yeast Connection" is a good resource for the how to's of the anticandida diet for controlling yeast, but even with that something else is needed such as this incredible product, Candex. It is really an amazing product. Do the process correctly with it and you'll see results. Do the process wrong such as on full stomach and not empty stomach waiting and you see no results.

The bottle also suggests one cup of water per pill. So when I take three pills in the early morning I drink three cups of water. If I do less my stomach hurts and I don't feel well. I have no die off responses and no pain if I follow the recommended water requirement. I tried doing 2 cups of water with 3 pills one time and it made my stomach hurt so I follow the water rule strictly always and never have any problem with it. I buy this product every month or so and I stay with the 3 pills a day and it works well for me. I am not over the candida problem so it is taking longer for me to reach the maintenance level. Candida is associated with a wide range of medical problems and issues that staying at this dose works fine for me. My head is clearer, my joints/muscles do not hurt, the butterfly rash on my face is breaking up and my facial skin tissue is going back to normal--many differences showing up as I take this product.

Updated: I will add to this conversation. Exercise and a strong high oxygen environment kills candida. It can't survive in a strong oxygen environment. So those of us who have asthma and other lung problems or who just don't exercise and have lessened oxygen intake are targets. It is suspected that people over 50 or even less I suspect have about 50% less oxygen intake than they did in their 20's so as we age we are getting less oxygen. The more pollution and the more sedated the person, the less oxygen they get and an open door to candida. Anyone who doesn't exercise is a candidate for candida issues. So exercise. Check the tongue coating, follow the strict diet regiment, and become healthier. I will also note many foods are fungal, such as those left in the refrigerator overnight. Chocolate is created with a fungal, coffee is usually fungal but if you use the italian coffee it requires refrigeration so I think it is okay. I use it and haven't noticed it causing problems but I drink only 12 oz a day in the morning. The exercise issue is also a reason that folks with cancer are prone to candida as most with that situation can't exercise.

Unfortunately to be really successful with controlling candida and keeping it at bay, it takes a strict regiment on diet and one violation blows it for the day--check the tongue the next day, it shows. Prebiotics and probiotics and colostrum are great aids. Some books advocate a high protein diet, but nowadays I am seeing books suggesting a carbohydrate diet orientation. Meats have additives and hormones to them which make them a problem for candida. I get breathing problems from meat and probably for that reason. Also if you are sensitive to an animal such as chicken then you are probably sensitive to the eggs it lays so beware. Vaccines have egg in them so if you get really ill from such, it may be the egg allergy. The vegetarian diet is actually the better diet to follow for candida issues. The B-12 issue can be dealt with by using Braggs Nutritional Yeast as it is baked so it is candida free. Use a couple of tablespoons of it daily as most B-12 supplements have some kind of sugar in it which is taboo on the anti-candida diet program. The diet and its controls can be a lifetime project once the body gets out of balance. It forces you to take care of yourself and to be healthy. I use gluten free green drinks to aid the nutritional needs as my diet has really thinned out. Rice pasta which is gluten free becomes more the norm for pasta. Corn is a problem for many and quinoa has corn in it so it can't be use typically as a pasta. Chreese is a product that is a substitute for cheese powder; between it and Braggs Nutritional Yeast, it works well. Herbs have to be limited due to mold issues so I use restricted spices that are newer from websites that support such. it takes a lot to figure out what works and what is causing problems even if you think you have it right. The top tongue is really the best guide for daily gauging of "do I have it right." I notice a difference with the candex or rather when I haven't taken it enough. Some roots exist that are anti-fungal but they are challenging to the taste buds but do work, such as Pao Di Arco, Gentian root, etc. Raw garlic is a good one, but only one clove a day to avoid the body odor issue and do so at night only. It is a bit challenging on the mouth initially but does get better. Eat it slowly with small bites and as time goes on the speed in eating it improves. Spices I use are ginger, turmeric, black pepper, and cloves. I steep it for about 10 minutes to allow it to cool like a tea process. Ginger and turmeric at 1/2 teaspoon and black pepper and ground cloves at 1/8-1/4 teaspoon; great for inflammation and a yeast killer. Be aware that turmeric can thin the blood if you have problems that way. I do the drink once a day in a glass of 12 oz. Candida control is a lot of work but it does get better with practice and routine.

5Controls my chronic candidaMay 12, 2011
By Cactus
I've used Candex since 2005 to fully control a chronic yeast infection problem that I've had since 2004. In '04 after my gyn 'gave up on me', I took my health into my own hands and went onto a low carb, sugar free diet, and eliminated all processed foods. I also used 'Candida Clear' and several other anti-yeast formulations, both herbal and homeopathic. In addition to this, I used boric acid vaginal capsules, for about 6 months, as the Rx anti-fungals didn't work at all for me. After a year of strict adherance to the yeast-free diet, I was much better, but only by staying on the diet. And I'd become one of those people that no one wanted to have over for dinner! Plus I was missing eating tomatoes, carrots, fruits, etc. So I found Candex online, and decided to try it, even though it was the most expensive single remedy I'd tried w/o prescription. I carefully followed directions, including drinking lots of water. I began with 2 capsules plus a big glass of water one hour before breakfast, often taking this dose when I awoke to pee anytime from 4-6 am. I stopped eating anything after 8 pm at night, so I could take my nighttime 2 capsules anywhere from 10 pm on with another glass of water. I felt fine even after I stopped taking any other herbal supplements.
Then I gradually kept on the same Candex dose, while I re-introduced carbs, especailly fresh veggies and some fruits into my diet. I took my time with this process, about a year to start eating more 'normally'. Much to my amazement, after such a long struggle with yeast, I was able to stay infection-free, even when occasionally eating a sugar-laden dessert with friends. Over the past 5 years, I've gradually reduced my maintenance dose to 1 Candex in the early morning. And I pretty much eat anything except jams, dried fruits, fruit juices, white sugar, honey. I also don't drink anything alcoholic except one or two vodka drinks a year. At the first sign that I'm growing too yeasty again, I increase the Candex intake by a capsule or two, and usually after a few days, I'm able to reduce the dose again to one per day.
I hope that this review helps those of you who are undecided about Candex, as I once was. It has helped me to regain not only my physical, but also my mental balance, and saved my social life. I can't recomment trying it enough!

By F. Sewell
I periodically have a yeast problem after I am prescribed infection fighters, so I try to keep it controlled. Using various supplements over the years I have been okay with their effectiveness. This one really works, and works quickly. The best I have come across in couple decades. Highly recommend it.

5CandexSep 28, 2011
By James S. Lucas
I'm a 56 year old male. For a number of years was feeling light headed and "out of it". I was a little overweight, not too into sweets but liked to drink beer and over the years have had my fill. My nutritionist said that my system was overloaded with yeast from all the beer and recommended I try Candex. I mentioned my situation to a family member who is an MD and was informed my guy was a quack. Well... I tried Candex for 90 days and my symptoms went away. It worked for me.
