Chinese Medicinal Tea-Ginger (100% Ginger Root) - 20 - Bag
Description:
Ginger has long been a popular healthful herb. Ginger root is actually a rhizome, a root-like underground stem. It has been used in China since the 4th century B.C. Ginger traditionally was used as a warming beverage. It was a popular drink, consumed during meals and at other times of the day. It is said that the Chinese scholar Confucius had ginger nearby at every meal. It was regarded as a tonic for yang “chi”, or energy, and was a favorite infusion during the cold and chills season. Ginger was brought to the West from Asia, where it has been used as a healthy herb and food spice for 2,000 years or more! Ginger has become increasingly popular because of its delicious, warming and spicy taste. 100% pure ginger root sets this tea apart from other ginger tea blends and gives you the maximum amount of ginger taste! Our ginger tea is delicious hot or iced. Enjoy it as is, or try adding lemon and honey and your favorite sweetener.

Ginger Root TeasJul 02, 2009
By Enid Logan I really like the taste of this tea. I don't usually care for herb tea, but I do like the taste of the ginger tea. Most of the ginger teas have other herbs mixed with it. I don't like the taste of those. This tea is only ginger and it is ginger root too. I find it very soothing in the evening, after dinner. It has no caffeine and it is supposed to be good for the digestion. It is one of the only herb teas I really like. Also, I usually use bulk tea for my other teas because the tea bags are so weak, but these tea bags are good and strong. I like it particularly with a little honey in it. It's really good.

I am addicted to this tea. As an over 50 american, sometimes digestion is a problem. Not with this tea. Perfect cure for indigestion and keeping you regular.
It is really strong (medicinal strength) so know that going in. Me... I take it to the next step and take the tea out of the bag and put it in a french press. Makes an unbelievably warming tea. LOVE IT!

Broken tea bagsDec 28, 2011
By Jeri The string breaks off the tea bag, the bag opens up in the cup of hot water, the tea floats all over the inside of the cup. This is the first batch of tea bags that have broken like that. I don't know if it's a bad batch or what has happened. ? Bought the tea from amazon.

I've had better...Aug 23, 2010

I have had better, I usually use Alvita - Ginger Root (Caffeine Free), 24 bag but was unable to get some... I saw this for prime and tried it out. It lacks the ginger hotness and kick that you get with the Alvita, and I dont feel the same relief from Nausea I get with the Alvita, but they are okay. Its okay, not great, but okay.
