One of the best L-Dopa supplement available in my opinionMar 12, 2007

The DopaBean brand of Mucuna works very well. It comes in enteric-coated capsules which deliver a better effective dose. Protein digestion can reduce the amount of L-Dopa that gets delivered, but with the enteric-coating you don't have to worry as much about when you eat or how much protein you ate.

I found that you get a better effective dose using this brand than the Physician's formula brand. While both brands work, 1-2 of these capsules seems work as well as 2-3 of the Physician's Formulas.

I have ADHD and this works well with my other medications. It actually reduces the dosage needed of the other meds. We both definitely noticed an improvement in mood and libido and my fried was able to stop smoking more easily (so she claims).

I also can wake up more easily in the morning.

There are so many things out there that promise this or that,, if you came looking for this stuff then you know what it does, and I can tell you that it works. I've been trying it for 8 weeks and it really does make a difference. Try it, if after one bottle you don't notice the difference ... well ... see a doctor :)

I'm sure it may work well, but I had to toss mine. There was no warning not to use this if you have had melanoma and when I got it a friend told me you can't if you have had it, so I googled it and most other brands did have the warning stating that you shouldn't use it if you have had melanoma. So I had to throw mine away :) They should post that warning as it appears to be pretty standard.

I took this for one day hoping to feel a little happier.
I must have enough dopa because, It just made me feel awful, disoriented. I chunked it in the trash can!

Well, I took this stuff for a month and wound up in a mental hospital with mania and a bipolar disorder. Now, I may naturally be bi-polar (haven't shown any symptoms since the incident or before the incident) but artificially upping your dopamine levels can be dangerous if you have a bi-polar disorder. So dopabean works as advertised but buyer beware... if you start to feel depressed or manic stop taking this supplement.
