I've been a practicing massage therapist for 7 years and I've used all kinds of analgesic ointments, balms, lotions, etc. This is by far the most effective. It has a strong but pleasant fragrance. There is a similar product which most people have either used or are familiar with called "Tiger Balm". I would say this is twice as stong. So you have to use less and it's more effective.

I put it on a swollen muscle and let it sit for at least 5 minutes while I work on another area of the body. When I come back to that original area, it has softened the made the area more maleable, thus reducing the work I have to do and the amount of pressure the client has to receive.

It's a really good value! It will always be one of the tools of my trade.
