5This is the real lip plumperOct 06, 2006
By Mel Mac the Mad Scientist "Mel Mac"
So, most of the lip plumpers that you buy in the store has this stuff in it. You pay ridiculous amounts of money for products that have small amounts of cinnamon leaf oil. Well, this is 100% cinnamon leaf oil and it is dirt cheap. All you have to do is add some ( I add a few eye droppers full) to any liquid lip gloss and you will have a potent lip plumper that actually works. I am warning you though...this stuff is strong and it does burn, however it works better than anything I have ever tried (including lip fusion, and lip venom).

dear gods do i hate those damn expensive lip plumpers. only lip fusion has ever done a thing for me and its too expensive to keep up with. i added this stuff to a regular tube of lip gloss (ok a lot of this stuff) and while it did sting a little for maybe five minutes, my lips, while i use this are lovely. My only complaint would be the strength of the smell, but Christmas is coming anyways i can play it off as festive :)

5Plumps lips through irritationSep 14, 2008
By AMB
This is the product all the lip plumpers use, and comes at a way cheaper price than things such as Lip Venom. But god it burns! Be careful not to use a little too much like I did, you'll feel like your lips are falling off. ): But anyway, as said in the other review this is the real thing, and you should just apply a little to your lip gloss for a good lip plumper.

5If you own only a single essential oil, this should be it!Dec 05, 2005
By Genevieve Kiger "Gold Dragon Herbalist"
Lavender is arguably one of the most famous and most loved of all the Essential Oils. It is definitely also among the most versatile; any listing of essential oils and their uses you find, Lavender is almost guaranteed to have the most entries. If you were to have only one essential oil in your home, Lavender should be it, hands-down.

So what's the big deal? What all is it good for?

To start with, it just smells lovely. But of course, this isn't really anything to do with `what it is good for', but it certainly bears mentioning. On the more `effective' side, it is one of the few essential oils that can be safely used undiluted on the skin (for most people - some are too sensitive even for this oil undiluted). It is also unsurpassed in the realm of essential oils for treating burns. I can speak from personal experience when I say a drop or two of lavender essential oil applied to a fresh burn will help reduce or even prevent blistering, and hugely reduce the healing time required (even though it will sting slightly at first).

In addition to that, it is also a natural antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antidepressant, sedative, and detoxifier. It helps to promote healing and reduce scarring by stimulating the immune system and encourages the cells themselves to regenerate more quickly. It can both calm and stimulate depending on your need. It can help soothe and refresh tired, sore muscle and feet.

Digging still further, you can find that it is also effective against abscesses, acne, allergies, anxiety, arthritis, asthma, athlete's foot, bacteria, boils, bronchitis, bruises, colds, colic, cuts and wounds, cystitis, dandruff, depression, dermatitis, diarrhea, earache, eczema, fainting, headaches, hysteria, hypertension, infections, inflammation, influenza, insect bites, insomnia, hysteria, migraine, nausea, nervous tension, oily skin, PMS, psoriasis, rheumatism, sinusitis, sores, sprains, stress, stretch marks, sunburn, tension, ulcers, vertigo, and whooping cough.

Alright, clearly Lavender is useful. Why Aura Cacia specifically?

Aura Cacia is one of the oldest, largest, and most-respected brands on essential oils on the market. Although some may speak out against Aura Cacia, the only thing that I have really been able to glean from the objections of any substance is that they are a large company. And while I would count myself among the first to promote small business, I don't feel that just because a company is large one shouldn't purchase from them, if the quality is there. In this case, the quality is definitely there. And, because they are a large company, they can offer truly wonderful prices that smaller companies just can't match.

5Get some sleepNov 28, 2009
By Sigrid Baker "Omam"
With 2 toddlers that don't blow there noses yet this is a must have. Drop a few drops on a pillow to both sides of the head, about a hand's width away, and the vapors will free up some snotty noses. Add a foot rub and they will soon fall asleep. Use it on adaults too.
