i started using this about 4 days ago and started with just 2 tablets (not the recommended 3) with my meals 3x day. all ok, few times i went with the 3 tabs for supper but the rest of the day i only did 2, anyway no issues until about the 4th day- woke up at 2am with the worst feeling, not sure which end it was going to come out of - sorry to be gross. well needless to say, they should call this a 'stool liquifier' not a stool softner - understatement of the year!!! just use in moderation until you know how it effects you.

At the age of 40 (because of my family history) I had my first colonoscopy and they found 3 polops. My doctor said I would not have made it to my 50th birthday and put me on some expensive (propietary) fiber pills. I found this and took to my doctor to see if I could use this instead. With my doctors blessing I have used this for 10 years now and I am happy to say I have made it to 50 and am happy that this gave an affordable alternative to what the doctor offered.

This is an amazing product. I discovered it about a month ago and started taking it regularly. I have IBS-C, but Fiber Mate coupled with bulking fiber has made a huge difference in my condition. I've had no side effects. I would recommend it to anyone!
