okayJun 10, 2010 I bought this because I liked the chocolate and vanilla and thought a fruit flavor would be good. this orange cream is too sweet. I am not sure about the flavor, I would stick with the basics like chocolate and vanilla. The product is great, fills you up for hours, without cravings, low calorie and packed with vitamins. Great brand of products.

Great product, not bad tastingApr 22, 2009 I didn't purchase Fruitein from Amazon, but from my local health food store. I was looking for something to get me going in the morning while I was on a restricted diet due to Diverticulitis. The Fruitein shake has a pleasant taste and keeps me from feeling hungry for several hours. I usually eat 1/2 banana (or you can just make a smoothie if you prefer) with it. It doesn't mix well in plain water with a spoon, I use a portable shake maker (measuring cup with a removable lid) to mix. Typically I'll combine it with fruit juice (cold water works OK). The probiotics and digestive enzymes are also welcome, not to mention all the other goodies they pack into Fruitein. I have a sensitive stomach and it doesn't upset my stomach either. A little pricey to buy locally, Amazon seems like a better choice.

Great stuff - Get it Somewhere Else!Mar 13, 2008 Frutein is a wonderful product. It has helped my husband and I in our weight loss/control program. Tastes good, controls hunger, nutritious.
BUT DON'T GET IT FROM THE VITAMIN SHOPPE! They advertise "Free Shipping on orders over $99" - but when I placed my order I was charged for shipping. When I contacted customer service I was told that the offer did not apply to amazon sales. THEN WHY DO THEY ADVERTISE IT HERE:
