Nice for insurance, but don't take it too far.Sep 01, 2007
By Mojave Bob If you are gluten or casein intolerant, you know the challenges of eating out. Friends try to cook for your needs, but don't always understand fully what all contains gluten/casein. Restaurants usually have something that you can eat, but cross-contamination is such a problem as well as traces of butter, modified food starch or msg.
This is where Gluten-Ease is great -- do your best to eat GFCF, and take a Gluten-Ease as insurance, just because you aren't 100% sure. It seems to help.
However, the manufacturer says, "now you can eat what you want". Don't believe it. If you go eating pizza and count on a Gluten-Ease to take care of it for you, you are just begging for trouble.
Used wisely, it is a great tool to make your life easier.

I am gluten intolerant and just the smallest amount can make me sick for days. I found these pills in a health food store and I was skeptical at first but I was in Chicago and really wanted a slice of pizza so I went for it. THE PILLS WORK!!! They are magical. I can now eat anything I want with no side effects whatsoever. Just to be safe I'm staying away from gluten bombs like bagels or pasta but a sandwich or pizza or just about anything with one of these pills and I have no issues whatsoever. Wish I found them sooner. My friends call them "My Magic Pills" and I keep them in the car, my desk, everywhere. Now I can eat whatever I want thanks to Glutenease. This product has changed my life.
