Many hair products give me headaches with the fragrances added. Unscented does not always mean that as masking fragrances are added to cover alcohol smell....but this is truly fragrance free and also works great to hold styles!! Highly recommend this to anyone with allergies to scents!!!!!

I refer to it as GLUE. That's what it seems to be to me. It does leave a nice gloss. My hair is fine so it will weigh it down if I do not scrunch; however after it is dry it keeps the shape I have put it in. If you have short hair it would be great for spiking. The next day when I comb through my hair (Or after it is dry on the same day) it comes out soft and no flakes. I have a lite perm so it adds the body that I need. No scent to compete with whatever else you may use.

I've been an a search for a clear, simple gel with no oil,silicone or protein to use as my styler for the Curly Girl method which involves no to low shampooing. I also have a lot of allergies to many botanicals that many "natural" brands use, as well as a sensitivity to certain perfumes and scents. This product is perfect for my needs. For more moisture, I like to mix this gel 50/50 with a health food store brand of aloe vera gelly. The result is shiny, defined curls with just enough hold- no crunch, but not so soft the curls just fall out, with a lot of body. No flaking that I can see. Rinses out very easily. For reference for other curly girls I have defined waves in dry weather, loose curls in humidity (2c-3a). This gel is also good for blowing out my hair straight, it gives a great deal of volume.

I have found this product works great on my hair. I don't like my hair to be stiff and structured. This hair gel puts in just enough body to keep my style looking fresh all day. It also does not leave a lot of unwanted residue in my hair. It washes out cleanly with shampoo. Since it is fragrance-free, it does not trigger migraines in my fragrance-sensitive husband.
