This product absolutely saved my two rescued cats -- no petroleum in there, to begin with, and their systems have responded very well to the herbs. There is a trick to it though: you have to break the tablets immediately before presenting them to the cat so that they can smell of it -- by itself (unbroken or uncrushed) there's nothing to smell so it will get no interest or reaction from the animal. DO start slowly -- begin with one tab or even half a tab daily and build up from there until you get a regular response in the litter box.
