A little goes a long way.May 01, 2008

Like all of Alba Botanica's products, this one is of the highest quality. I've used it for over 10 years, and love it's cleansing qualities. It only takes a small amount (size of a dime) to rub beween your hands or on a face cloth and there will be plenty of suds to wash with. It's also gentle, with a light and pleasant fragrance.

soap gives a wonderful feeling at first until it starts to dry your face. I honestly love the soap but me and my family can no longer use it because of what it does to the skin over time.

My face feels clean and fresh and all you need is a small bit to cleanse your face. it is well worth the cost. Even in my 50s i still get small acne like when i was a teen. This has pretty much taken care of that. I get comlpiments on my skin a lot.

I also use the night cream and shampoo. My hair has a silkiness to it with the leave in cream rinse. The Alba products are chemicale free and does not weigth on you. No soap scum or build up.

As another customer stated, a little does go a long way when using this cleanser. Just a very small amount foams nicely to thoroughly cleanse the skin, and the tropical scent smells wonderful. I have always tended to have oily/sensitive skin and this product works just fine on my skin type. My skin feels refreshed, deeply clean and soft. My only, only complaint and it's somewhat minor...is that, you do have to be sure to rinse thoroughly (also don't use too much to begin with)as it will sting the eyes if any residue gets into them. Like I said if you use a small amount and rinse thoroughly with closed eyes you won't have this experience. All in all, a very nice product!

I have tried countless cleansers over the years trying to find one that is just right for my skin. I always find that either the cleanser doesn't clean good enough, or it cleans too much and dries out my skin. This one is just right. And it smells great. I've been using it now for about a year and have not had any problems. Finally!
