By Marge M If you have hot flashes and other signs of menopause, this is the product to try first. There are cautionaries about anything you take into your body but compared to the alternatives, this one is probably the safest.
Read the ingredient list first to mke sure that none of them are contraindicated - usually it would be the soy concentrate. If that's not a problem you will find that it isn't just those soy isoflavones which are doing the job, it is the phytoestrogenic ingredients working together, the Black Cohosh root, Dong Quai root, Licorice root extract and the Chaste Tree Berry extract. One ingredient with contraindications is Dong Quai which should only be taken after you talk to you doctor if you are taking an anticoagulent.Another warning is if you are taking any herbs or meds with a sunlight exposure warning such as St Johns Wort. In the formulation in Hot Flash, I don't think there is a significant concern. I have taken them together without any issue of skin rash but it is something you should consider.
You could try one of the plain Genistein-rich soy products. The result is not the same for me but if they work for you, they are a less expensive way to go. You can also find the root products without the soy isoflavones.
My suggestion is that you take the 3 tablets spaced out during the day rather than all at once. 1 in the morning, another in the late afternoon and the last before bed. Since this is not a time release, you have the benefits 24/7. Try skipping a few days to see what happens...oh heck, I don't wish that for you. Try just one day. You'll feel the difference.
Once it is working for you, some women find a reduction to 2 tabs a day works pretty well. If it doesn't you can always return to 3x.
Find the best price and the largest size because, as my mother pointed out many years ago, for many women menopause and its symptoms can last for the rest of your life. I wouldn't want to start or end the day without this product. Enjoy!

I have been taking Source Naturals Hot Flash for nine years. Yes, nine years, going on ten. I tried everything on the market back then. My husband would bring home things for me to try (nothing worked) because of going through Menopause. Hot flashes, mood swings, the whole nine yards. My daughter found Hot Flash at the grocery store, and told me about it; it was pretty expensive. Still is in some places. I take three pill together in the evening so I can get through the night and it works until the next evening. Once in awhile, I will have a couple hot flashes during the day, but not that often. If I do, I take one and then the other two in the evening. It really does take about a bottle of them to get them in your system, (to start working) but after that. It does what you need it to do. I recommend Hot Flash to everyone because like I said..."It Works". I do find though that the pills definitely do wear off about a half hour or so before it's time to take them again, but all-in-all, it works better than anything else I've tried.

By J. Corkum I have used this product for about two years now with great success. As long as I take it twice a day, I don't have the severe night sweats. It does take about three weeks to get in your system, but after that it works great.

By May I have used Hot Flash for 6 weeks now and almost always sleep through the night instead of waking up several times because of night sweats. I have fewer hot flashes during the day too. I must take the 3/day dose to maintain my results. I would highly recommend this product.
