Miraculously ELIMINATED all IBS and heartburn symptomsNov 16, 2009

My husband had seen countless specialists, and was diagnosed Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Hiatal Hernia, Acid Reflux and was prescribed meds that cost HUNDREDS of dollars per month (Nexium $250+, Reglan, Prilosec, etc.) He tried probiotics and has miraculously been rid of all the symptoms. He can even go off of them awhile and start them back up if/when the symptoms begin to surface.
Jarrow brand has given him the best results, and Walgreens brand is okay. He has tried many brands, and by far he recommends these. I cannot claim these are a cure for anything, but if you are having persistent acid reflux, heartburn, or diarrhea I cannot urge you enough to at least try these for a month. My husband suffered for years in his thirties, now he can eat what he wants. I am a nurse and was his biggest skeptic; now I am a believer. Trust me, I've seen a lot of herbs hyped, but this one has me sold.
I have also heard women take these for symptoms of vaginal yeast infection and have great results.

By Dana Black Jarrow Probiotics are a wonderful, wonderful thing. If you have problems with things like acid reflux or heartburn, this is the product for you.
I used to have both of these issues and took aciphex, prilosec, and countless others that tore my stomach up even worse than what I was attempting to fix, but jarrow probiotics was recommended by someone in the whole foods store in bedford, Massachusetts and it has been smooth sailing ever since.
I no longer have any problems with acid reflux or heartburn, and I can eat whatever I chose to eat, without any side effects.
It is not an overnight fix, though. You do have to take it for a few weeks to begin to feel the difference when you eat a food that would normally cause you a problem, and you do have to continue to use the probiotics daily, but the good thing is that you can cut down on the dose once you achieve the desired results, and this is a natural product, so you can take it forever if you choose for maintenance.
It really works out your digestive system as well, and gets you back to using the restroom regularly, without any issues.

By John Konrath This product is the best all-around pro-biotic for people who can't always maintain the highest quality diet. Of course, I always try to avoid simple sugars and maintain a healthy intake of fiber from real food... but that's often not possible when I travel or must eat out in the course of my job. Most restaurant food is devoid of pro-biotic species and invariably contains too much simple sugar. I maintain a healthy population of gut bacteria by taking 2 EPS capsules with every meal. I make it a point to take these capsules with me when I know I'll be away from home. They maintain potency without refrigeration and are enteric-coated to make it through to the small intestine for delivery there and to the colon with sufficient potency to maintain a positive "friendly" species population. When indigestion due to water- or food-borne pathogens cause me discomfort, I take 4 capsules per hour until I no longer feel discomfort... often within the first dose or two. With over 4 billion organisms of 8 different species in a room-temperature- stable, individually sealed capsule, I've yet to find another pro-biotic product that delivers this list of features and benefits - regardless of price.

Cured my IBS symptoms!!!Jun 13, 2010
By Erin I have been suffering from MAJOR IBS issues for over 2 years. Going to several doctors/gastroenterologists for this has been very mentally (and physically) exhausting, as I have always been told that "IBS" is a term they give patients when they cannot pin-point an exact illness, or cause of these IBS symptoms. I have been prescribed medicine that helps your intestines not cramp up, but nothing really seemed to work, and I don't really feel comfortable taking prescribed medicine that just helps mask the symptoms. I decided to give probiotics a try. Almost a year ago, I began taking a different brand, and since then, have tried a couple more that I won't mention. Although they did help, my IBS symptoms where still there more often then I would have liked. I read a ton of positive reviews about Jarro and decided to give them a try. I have been taking them for a little over three weeks and I swear I have not had ONE episode of IBS symptoms. Almost daily, I had intestinal cramps, gas, and bathroom urgency (eww I know). I only have been taking one pill a day and my IBS seems to have vanished!! I owe my sanity to this product and would recommend it to EVERYONE to help balance out their digestion. I love you Jarro. :)

Great way to stay well!May 31, 2009
By Cherie Eifler I've been taking these capsules (2 per day) for 1-1/2 years now. Prior to starting, I'd been sick with colds, sinus infections, and two URIs for 3 months straight. Since I've been using Jarro-Dophilus EPS -- not even a sniffle. This was referred to me by a friend who had totally turned around his health, and I thought I'd better try something! This is working great for me...I first wrote this review after I'd been using Jarro-Dophilus for 3 months in the summer of 2009. Now, summer of 2010, I am still healthy -- I didn't get a cold or flu all winter. It's been years since I've gone a whole year (plus) without a sinus infection.
