Migra-Eeze™ Standardized Butterbur-Ginger-Riboflavin Formula In Germany, doctors are recommending a natural extract from the herb butterbur to those who suffer from regular episodes of head cavity discomfort. In clinical trials in both Germany and the United States, butterbur reduced the incidence of head cavity discomforts by up to 61%.1,2 Butterbur's principal active constituent, petasin, reduces smooth muscle spasms and helps relax the constriction of cerebral blood vessels. Butterbur's ability to relax constricted arteries and smooth muscle may help control head cavity discomfort. Life Extension's new Migra-Eeze™ contains butterbur root extract standardized to provide 22.5 mg of petasins with each daily dose of two softgels. Riboflavin (vitamin B2) and ginger are included based on the ability of these nutrients to exert functional changes that may also guard against head cavity discomforts. 1. It works!Nov 30, 2010
By Erika S Atkinson This product worked on getting rid of my migraines. The neurologist prescribed 5 different drugs, none of which worked.
As for butterbur being toxic, the butterbur is only toxic if the pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PA) are not removed. The manufacturer of this brand states: "Migra-Eeze(tm) uses a patented butterbur extract carefully extracted using state-of-the-art technology to obtain key active ingredients while containing no detectable toxic pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PA)."

Migra-Eeze definitely helps!Jun 15, 2011
By LRinker1 Have been using Migra-Eeze for a little over a month now (1 in the morning, 1 before bed). Have definitely seen a decrease in frequency and intensity of my migraine headaches. It will be interesting to see if it holds its effectiveness. Migraines have a tendency to "figure out" meds and marginalize their effectiveness over time.
Migra-Eeze has helped meJun 03, 2009
By B. Blondin I believe Migra-Eeze has improved my migraine situation and helped reduce the number of attacks I have and their severity. After 40 years of migraine disease, it's still difficult to know exactly what is or isn't helping, but I've been taking Migra-Eeze for a few months, and I do believe it's made an improvement for me. Also, it's the only butterbur product that doesn't upset my stomach, I think because of the ginger in it. Thank you.

My husband has been taking Migra-Eeze for 6 weeks now. He has still been getting his weekly migrane. The length and intensity of some of them has been better, but I think it's too early to tell. He is going to give it the ol'college try and do it for at least 2 more months. I'll update this review if there has been any change.

This supplement is extremely effective. I went from having several migraines a week, to just 1 or 2 a month. I am not even good about taking it twice a day.
