Did not help my oily skinJan 10, 2011
By Christine If you are like me, you bought this cleanser because you find natural/organic products important and you have an oily complexion. I have always had an oily face and I bought this because I place natural products on top priority. Well, I wasn't too pleased with certain aspects of the product. I did not notice a difference in my oil production. However, I did notice a softer feel to my skin and this cleanser does a great job of removing my eye makeup. I gave it three stars because it did not help with my oily face. But, it is a good product with natural ingredients and I will probably continue to use.
(I believe food is more of a variable for an oily face than any facial cleanser)

By Mohicangirl I have used this facial cleanser for nearly 10 years. My skin is VERY oily but sensitive. Before I started using this product, I'd had a rough time with some Neutrogena products because they were harsh, stripping and my skin would just rebel and produce more and more oil with irritation. Aubrey to the rescue and I would never use anything but this cleanser. Watch for sales, especially at places like [...], because the price is getting higher each year.
This is definitely the "natural and organic version" of Neutrogena. It's the same consistency, but your skin responds so differently. For the person who feels like she has a film on her skin, you are using way too much. For my entire face, I use the equivalent of a pinpoint on my middle finger. Spread on your cheeks, then forehead, then all over and massage gently. Rinse thoroughly with water. I use the equivalent of two of these bottles per YEAR!
My skin is soft as butter, bright, and clear of blemishes. Aubrey is awesome and I thank his mom for showing him how to create these products [Aubrey thanks her profusely in his beauty book...excellent purchase, too]
Definitely try this product if you are having oily/breakout/sensitivity issues.

By westmainmusic i am probably on my 3rd or 4th bottle of this cleanser. i have tried everything known to man to control my extremely oily skin. so far, this product has worked the best; however, i still have to blot with rice paper at least 2x a day. i have resigned myself to the fact that that's the way it's going to be for me. my biggest complaint is this, and maybe someone can enlighten me, or let me know if you agree: to me, the cleanser smells like a load of laundry that has been left in the washing machine for three days; a sour, unpleasant smell, under which i can smell the menthol just slightly. it's not bad enough to make me stop using it but i have heard people say it smells great. is it possible my health food store has old inventory and it just went bad?

By Jacelyn66 Love, love, love this product. This is the best facial cleanser I've used! I've been using this brand for about 4 months now. I no longer have acne breakouts. :) Skin feels really clean & fresh after using. Smells great too! I like the menthol tingle feeling afterwards.
