A Supplement that WORKS!Aug 20, 2007
By S. E. Ray I am one of those alternative supplement fanatics from the early 90's. Have a large cabinet and refrigeration unit dedicated to supplements and alternative medicines. If I had to choose a couple items and destroy the rest, the Green Phyto Base powder would be first choice. I still think it is a bit pricey, but it works. Forget coffee and other drink stimulants. What your body is really craving when fatigue is besetting is easily assimilated nutrients that pass into the blood stream quickly without digestive delays. I mix one scoop with 4 oz of Diet Berry Twister and 3 oz of R.W. Knudsen Just Black Cherry. Both perfectly offset the powdery essence. You can't drink this with water or most other drinks because it is green powder. A strong berry concoction is best. It will make you feel bloated if you don't eat first and it will change your bowels some. Reason I only use a couple times a week. But the renewed energy and sense of well being cannot be duplicated by anything else, and I have tried many, many things.[...]

By notatechfan I think this is a good powdered multi vitamin/mineral product, which, since it is powdered, is more easily absorbed and easier to take than a lot of large pills. It is also a means of getting a lot of greens one doesn't normally eat. I mix it with other ingredients to make a healthy smoothie any time of day, but it is especially good for breakfast. Blend with some water, juice, fruit, flax seeds, yogurt, a natural sweetener like Stevia or Agave syrup and it tastes good and goes down easily. I also put vanilla whey protein powder in it and you have a complete meal. The price on here is very good and I received the shipment in about three days with free shipping. I will order it from here again.

I've gotten rid of many pills and replaced them with this powder which actually gives me all of the vitamins and minerals I was getting with all those pills. As with all natural "Green" powders the taste is not great, but I put mine in my morning breakfast shake so it tastes fine. You simply can't beat all the natural green ingredients and concentration of Vitamins and Minerals. Now if they could just make a pill format of this product for a comparable price that would be perfection!
