I have been using this product for years. I first happened upon it 13 years ago when my hair was falling out after the birth of my son. My hair & nails really improved, but the key to this product is that you take 1,000 mgs. of Vitamin C so that your body absorbs the Silicia. I take it twice a day and aches & pains I had before in my shins went away, too. And I know this product works b/c when I stop using it, things start aching again. Silica is good for rebuilding muscle, collagen, bone, tendons, nails, hair, etc. I'm 52 and everyone thinks I'm in my 30's still!!!

I purchased the Solgar Silica along with the Solgar Biotin to help inprove my hair. I've been dealing with thinning weak hair and weak nails. My nails showed improvements quickly and then my hair. Both are longer and MUCH stronger. I'll continue to take these suppliments.
