Autumn splendor in a tube!Jul 26, 2010

The Fall has always been my favorite time of year. Living in Florida, I always tend to start longing for Autumn in the middle of the year, and then develop an obsession for it when the Summer humidity and heat waves set in.

I found this product last year. When reading the description, my mind conjured up a typical Autumn spice fragrance. When the lotion arrived, I realized that the pumpkin scent is not of the spiced variety but of the freshly carved pumpkin.

I love everything about this cream/lotion! The scent, the consistency and how well it works! If Desert Essence carried a whole line of products with this scent, I would not hesitate to try them all. The scent is very delicate in a sense that it would not interfere with any perfume you may choose to wear, it's definitely not overpowering like other scented creams or lotions are sometimes. However, it makes me want to sniff the back of my hand all day for that whiff of Autumn I yearn for. Not sure how to best describe it but to me, it has an organic, fresh, natural yet warm scent that brings instant comfort. And, I only need to re-apply it whenever I wash my hands, otherwise it keeps them well moisturized like any good hand lotion should.
