I bought this item from a health food store. They reccommended either this one or the Barleans. I chose this one because it had a highter amount of epa and dha. It was very expensive ($35).

I have read about the importance of Omega 3's and I suffer from Rheumatoid Arthritis, ADHD, Extremely dry skin and dry/brittle hair and nails. All of these are possibly helped by taking dha/epa. I will say that I have only been taking it a few days and I know it will take longer than that to see any effects. The only positive effect I have seen and I'm not sure if it is coincidence or not, is I am sleeping much better. I will update my review if and when I see any results.

With that being said, the taste is discusting!!! I am also giving it to my 3 year old (much smaller dose) and I tried mixing it in his yogurt and chocolate milk. He wouldn't take it. The only thing that I have found to mask the taste is orange juice. He doesn't notice the difference. I do, but it helps a lot! The only other complaint I have is I can't get the fish smell off of my hands no matter how many times I wash them. Not the best odor for a woman to have on her.

After this bottle, I might try the capsules.

I love Factors for my kids! High dose of DHA and the kids even enjoy the taste! Great "brain food" and the grades even show an increase since they have been taking their omega 3 oil! Great book, "Is your child's brain starving" can really help with all sorts of issues from ADD, allergies to just keeping your child healthy physically and emotionally. Really gives them an edge at school too which they need with the curriculum!
