best powder EVERAug 13, 2011
By winterkay I have been in serious need of a powder capable of full coverage, that doesn't clog my pores, isn't heavy, and is good for my skin all at the same time. This is the product I have always been looking for. Through much deliberation and entry of each ingredient into the cosmetics database, my research lead me to believe that this was the powder of my dreams. I've used this powder for a few weeks now, and I'm glad to say it has lived up to everything I hoped for. The cinnamon smell of the powder itself is a plus, and the silk-powder ingredient allows the powder to not seem "too matte" giving a slightly radiating appearance. (For any ladies worried about this, the powder is definitely not shimmery.) Although the powder has "translucent" in the name, don't be fooled into thinking this means that you can't obtain full coverage. Without a "cakey" appearance, the powder goes on with ease when using a powder brush to apply. The only thing I was hesitant about when purchasing this product was the fact that it's a loose powder. I have an aversion to loose powders for the fact that they can be very messy and too bulky to carry. I admit that I leave this product at home because of these reasons, and continue to carry a pressed powder in my purse for touch ups during the day.
For reference, I wear this powder always with concealer underneath and sometimes a light foundation. I am caucasian with yellow under-tones (this powder complements perfectly). I am 21 and have experimented with many brands of make-up :)

My Favorite FoundationSep 28, 2010
By Brownee I prefer a foundation that's relatively sheer, but makes my face a little less shiny (I have that lovely glossy look without makeup.) I just need something to even out the skin tone and cut the shine, while looking fairly natural. This works perfectly, and the ingredients are so safe that I have no concerns about wearing it on my skin day after day. I actually do have sensitive skin, and have had reactions to many moisturizers, but I've had no problems with this powder.

By Dana McFly I've been using Aubrey shampoos as well as facial cleansers and moisturizers, so I felt confident trying the powder foundation. What a bad idea! The powder didn't go on smoothly. It seemed to clump in my pores. My skin dried out to the point of itching and ultimately a full break out. Nightmare! I do not by any means have sensitive skin. My skin is resilient and actually pretty oily as opposed to dry, but this product took it to the other extreme - dry and irritated. The only good thing I can say is I like how it smells!

By Debi Dawn I just received this product today. As I opened the lid, an aroma of fresh cinnamon wafted under my nose. The powder is so soft. I just might redo my make-up today, and not wait until tomorrow to use it. Wow! Sincerely, Deborah Clinkingbeard
