SOLAR SEASALT Natural unrefined solar seasalt contains the essential nutrient sodium chloride. DeSouza's® Solar Seasalt is unheated and untreated and contains no chemical additives. Our salt crystals are grown from seawater in salt-lined beds and then naturally dried by the sun and wind. DeSouza's® salt has a delightful salty flavor. Available in Rock, Fine and Extra-Fine grades. When cooking, remember to use only one-half the recipe amount for twice the flavor. Seasalt added to your bath water is both therapeutic and a natural skin softener. Conduct Your Own Test Natural salt can be given this simple test in your own home. Put a spoonful into a glass of water and let it stand overnight; if the salt collects on the bottom of the glass, it's been processed. Natural salt will dissolve completely.

This is an excellent product ...

Pros:
- dissolves completely, leaving no clumps
- 100% natural without additives
- stable, i.e. does not pick up moisture over time
- good value

Cons:
- can be hard to find in stock

I have used many salts designed for use in a neti pot, and this is clearly a superior choice.
