Great for skin care!Feb 29, 2008
By April Fear I use this oil in a spray bottle with a little water. It is great for softening the skin and preventing wrinkles. Spray it on after showering and rub into the skin, you won't believe how soft your skin will feel! It says it can be used in cooking, but I have only used it in place of lotion to soften the skin.

Quality Apricot Oil for massage and moisterizingJan 05, 2011
By J. Cullen
"researcher"
Pros:
- just as good as Burt's Bees
- good price
Cons:
- large size if you can't use it fast enough
I have tried several brands of apricot oil including somewhat pricey Burt's Bees. There is no noticeable difference between this and the other brands I have tried. We use this after for moisturizing and for a massage oil. It works great.
The 16oz size may be a bit large for personal use as all the apricot oils I have tried lose their smoothness and get "grainy" over time. So if you are the sole user or won't use it all within a couple of months, you should pour some into a small bottle and but the rest into the freezer to preserve it.
Tip: For a great massage oil, get some lavender essential oil and add a few drops of 6oz of apricot oil.

Great oilAug 09, 2010
By Jenny :) I use this apricot kernel oil for skincare and haircare. The 16oz bottle comes with some ideas for what you can use this oil for. For haircare I use a mix of apricot kernel oil, sweet almond oil, and jojoba oil and it's been good for my scalp and my hair with all its vitamin E and moisturizing properties. For skincare, these oils absorb quickly into the skin and doesn't leave an oily residue. My skin is so much softer now and the creases on my neck have been reduced. I'm not at the age to have many wrinkles on my face yet, but it's improved the texture of my skin and I have not gotten any pimples from these oils. This price is also cheaper than what I could find on ebay. I'm happy with this product!

DebraMay 09, 2010
By Debra L. Willard It is really great. It has so many uses. One I like the best is using it as a hot oil treatment for my hair. I have really thin hair. This seems to give it a little bouse that I have never had. I mixed it in all my body washes, shampoos and conditioner. I have a rash on my legs and it does work, I just can keep my dogs from licking off. We all think it taste great.I put it on my salad and on my tuna sandwich n place of mayo. You can do so many thigs with it and it is good for you to.

First time AKO userJul 02, 2011
By Jamie Ratliff This is the first oil I've ever bought for skincare purposes. After washing off my makeup for the day and using my Clarisonic, I'll apply this all over my face and neck, massaging as I go. I only use this at night since it's a bit too heavy for day use.
I really wasn't sure how I would like this. I have normal/combination skin sensitive to breakouts. I was pleasantly surprised to find that AKO seemed to balance my skin, leaving it moisturised, soft and smooth.
Personally, I can't apply it around the eye area. I was hoping to use it as a sort of eye cream as well as a face and neck moisturiser but found it was too heavy for the eye area for me; it caused milia.
I purchased the larger size. I put some into a smaller bottle and use that. I leave both the larger bottle and my smaller one in the fridge for keeping.
I was always wary about purchasing night creams because there are so many ingredients, and I never know if they'll break me out or not. This worked wonderfully, and I'm a facial oil convert. Since purchasing this oil, I've also bought Sea Buckthorn Seed Oil and Maracuja Oil. I really like the MO, but the AKO is my favourite. AKO is heavier than the SBTSO and MO. AKO has a slight nutty smell. SBTSO has a strong nutty smell. MO smells completely different; it's earthy, like a mixture of roots. The MO doesn't have the most pleasant smell, but it goes away once applied.
Once I finish this bottle (whenever that happens!), I plan to repurchase again and again.
