I haven't had a flavor of Spirutein that I didn't like! It blends easily and makes a thicker shake, which I prefer. Some of the best are the peaches and cream, chai and cookies and cream. Disregard reviews from people such as Charlie - if you look at his other reviews, he has deathly reactions to everything he tries.

Spirutein Shakes are the best tasting protein drinks I've tried. I usually just stick to chocolate, vanilla and egg nog, so I thought I'd try these.

Good chance to sample, pointless shakerDec 19, 2011

I love vanilla spirutein and have it almost every day, so I thought I'd sample the other flavors. This is a great chance to do so without bending your wallet to purchase a container of each. Sadly, I found that some of the flavors are not so great. For example, the tropical flavor seems too artificial and the strawberry banana smells like medicine. Also, the shaker is pointless. I just use a small blender; with the shaker I had too much powder stick to the sides and not mix in to the drink.

Tip: A lot of powder comes in each packet so I recommend using one packet for two servings/drinks. Otherwise it is overkill with the powder, plus this makes it more economical!

I have tried several varities and have liked most of them. I prepare with milk and then pop in the freezer for about 20 minutes. It's almost like a milkshake!

I mixed this into my daily fruit smoothie. It was very foamy and hard to swallow. After getting 3 swallows down I immediately threw everything up. Good thing I was standing by the sink. It all happened fast, but obviously my body didn't like it. It was like drinking foamy chalk. Get this off the shelf--it's vile.
