I've been trying to find the right gel for my naturally curly hair for a long time now. I saw that the reviews on several sites for this product were very good, so ordered some. I have to say I'm not really impressed... I HATE crispy hair and this definitely gives me crispy head, even crunching it after it's completely dried didn't really help. I also don't care for the smell, it's kind of odd. When I put it on my damp hair, it feels alright in my hands, but after it's in my hair it has a very sticky consistency and seems to dry a overly quick. I probably will keep this bottle as a back up in case I run out of other products but won't be buying this again.

You can go either way with this styling gel. Curls or straight. It holds well. It keeps your hair together and weighs it down a bit, I like the glow it gives to my hair, not glittery but a very deep shine. It would definitely bring out the color in your hair. Giovanni makes great products and this is one of them. Keep it up :)

Really works! Makes curls that last a week or more on heavy, hip-length hair. Don't need to use a lot. Very light scent. Curls feel soft. Leaves no visible residue. Product washes out easily and completely. No build up. Would be amazing by any standard, but at under $10 and natural--can't be beat!! Only drawback--hair takes much longer to dry when this product is used. I hope they never discontinue or change the formula.

I am obsessed with finding the perfect hair product for curly hair. Either it's too sticky or doesn't hold enough. I stopped a woman in an airport once to ask her what she used because her curls were soft but defined, and she told me about this product. I'm not sure if the magnetic-thing is just a hook, but this product makes my curls behave like nothing else. The gel comes out slick but as soon as you put it in your hair, it feels like it dries. It's easy to use on wet or dry hair and I've been using it on and off for 2 years.
