Super Omega-3 Fish Oils Super Omega 3 is at the top of the Pill-Board chart, as mentioned in O, The Oprah magazine June, 2004 Issue, page 138. Shows DHA ContentNov 09, 2010
By sjean1r1 Carlson's shows a breakdown of DHA/EPA content on the label, which most do not. This is important to me since I am mostly interested in the DHA content. Each capsule has 200 mg of DHA and, according to what I have read elsewhere, 500-600 mg per day should be enough for the average individual.

By happycustomer I have taken Carlson Lab fish oils for ten years. I became familar with their products after researching fish oil online. Based on their preformance in university studies I purchase my first Carlson Lab products. Since then I have tried other cheaper fish oils, but have always returned to Carlson Lab products... quality means repeat business.

Fish oil for controlling triglycerdiesDec 19, 2011
By Regular on Amazaon I have been using this particular form of Carlson's fish oil for controlling triglyceride levels. They seem to work. It is recommended that you get about 1000 mg of EPA + DHA together daily, about 500 mg of each. With 2 gel tabs of this formulation of Carlson you should get enough. It seems to work for me. Finally got my triglycerides levels in a decent range after years of elevated, uncontrolled levels. But you have to exercise and watch what you eat also. For me the exercise and diet was not enough I needed the right amount of EPA & DHA daily to really have decent control.

spotty resultsSep 14, 2011
By mthomas0078 I wanted to give this fish oil a try instead of the Nordic Naturals I had been using. Love the NN but not the price tag. After researching a bit, I went with the Carlsons b/c it was good quality and a good price. I probably won't buy it again. It consistently gives me fish burps. In the product's defense, I'm the only person in my family (2 kids and 1 husband)who has this issue. So I doubt it's the product itself, but more the combo of the product and my body for whatever reason. Still, I've never experienced this ever with NN and no matter what the price of the Carlsons is in comparison, fish burps aren't worth it.

By Vernon Norbet No fish oil after taste- seems to reduce my dry skin problems and partially eliminates the hives I get from dairy products
