Easy to drink/skin is greatDec 18, 2008

I've been drinking Toki for about 3 months now. My skin has been honestly very nice since I started drinking this, and some spots are gone.
I had some very light discoloration on my cheeks, from harmones. That is now gone. Fine lines have not advanced, but they are still there. I've had much more luck with Aveeno Truely Ageless and Frownie strips for lines. For texture and color though, Toki has been most helpful.

It tastes ok - it isn't great but it isn't at all bad especially if you like lemon flavor. I find it very easy to drink - it isn't sweet or sour, it mainly leaves the water tasting like you've squeezed a lemon in it. So the flavor is not strong, and slightly pleasant.

It doesn't always dissolve well for me. It comes in a cannister with a wooden scoop which you put in water. I think the problem is the collegen. Stir really well and it is still there a bit. I just add some ice and down it. If you do not drink plain water well though, this might be more difficult for you.

Improvement for me took 2 weeks. I'm not sure exactly when it happened, but after about 2 weeks I noticed those melasma spots were gone. I'd had them at least 7 years. Granted, they were not too bad to start with, but now they are completely gone.

You do see some results after taking it religiously for two months. Some of the sun spots are lightened and the overall skin texture is improved. However, I stopped taking it due to weight-gain. If you don't mind gaining at least 5 lbs, I say go for it! It does work.
