2Not sure these help for goutJul 31, 2012
By Ana Logue
I bought these and "Solgar Tart Cherry 1000mg" and "Enzymatic Therapy Tart Cherry Ultra" capsules too. I really cannot tell if they help with gout symptoms. I opened all the capsules and tried tasting the powders inside to compare. By taste alone, these had the least "cherry taste" of the 3 brands. These also tasted like they had the most fillers, a chalky taste. All of the brands had fillers/mixing mediums like Cellulose, Silica, etc., but the Solaray seemed to be the most chalky (not the cherry ingredient), if taste alone is the measure.

I have been looking for an alternative to cherry juice concentrate, for relief of gout symptoms. I hoped to avoid the sugar and calories of the juice, but still feel the benefits. So far, the juice gives more noticeable results. I tried to control for diet, etc. to do good testing for the pills, but I sense no real results from any of them. I decided to choose the "Enzymatic Therapy Tart Cherry Ultra" for further experiment, as they seemed to taste the most cherry. Good luck to any gout sufferers, I'm undecided about all the cherry pills I have so far tried.

Meanwhile, I feel real results from the "Dynamic Health Laboratories Organic Certified Tart Cherry Juice Concentrate" (sold on Amazon, of course!). I use about 3 tbs. in a cup of water 2 times a day, or more if I feel a twinge. It is especially helpful on an empty stomach, so I take it mornings and evenings. I tried many of the brands of cherry juice and cherry juice concentrates. The DH tart (not the black cherry) is much more noticeable in relieving toe/joint pain/other symptoms. For what it's worth, I feel it helping in 15 to 30 minutes from drinking it! No other cherry product has helped as much. Good luck to all.

4Recommend it!Jul 08, 2013
By Janet Pumphrey
A friend recommended this because my knee was giving me so much trouble. I've already had three cortisone injections in that knee. I was ready to call Doctor to see what next step would be. I've been taking this supplement for a month now, and the pain has lessened enough that I won't be needing to call, after all!

5The Best!Mar 13, 2014
By Donald McDonald "oldno7"
If you're prone to gout, you need to be taking these. These triple strength capsules are the best. Just take two and you're set for the day. The alternative is to drink the tart cherry juice and that stuff is hard to swallow.

Excellent source of joint pain relief. All natural! Use the Triple Strength only, it is a better bang for the buck!

This definitely seems to lessen the joint aches. Give it a try, and see what it can do for you.
