A coworker turned me on to Umcka over a year ago now and I haven't had a cold since! I work as the technology person in a school district and so end up touching everyone's keyboard in the course of my job. In previous years, I had at least two or three colds during the school year but now as soon as I feel that first tickle, I chew an Umcka and keep doing so every few hours until I know I have blocked yet another virus. It is incredible! I have recommended it to all of my friends and now everyone swears by it. The most important thing is to take it at the first symptoms to stop the cold in its tracks, although even people who are already sick feel that it helps shorten the duration of their illness.
Now recently we brought a cat home from the Humane Society. She had an upper respiratory infection that she shared with our 8 year old existing cat. After two weeks, he just didn't seem to be getting over the bouts of sneezing and I was planning to take him to the vet on my day off. I did some research on the Internet and found one person who mentioned giving Umcka to her feline with amazing results. I was a little bit hesitant (okay, a lot) but finally cut a tablet into quarters and mashed a piece up in his food. That was two days ago and he is almost completely well! Now maybe the virus had run its course, but it seems like a complete turn around to me. (Of course, use caution with anything that isn't approved for feline consumption...I'm simply sharing one success story.)
For me, Umcka is an amazing product, one that I wouldn't be caught without at anytime of the year but especially during cold and flu season. I always have a packet in my purse and one in my desk so it is handy for me to take immediately at that first indication I might be coming down with something. It has been a blessing!

By Mary H Drake Keep a couple of these chewable tablets in your purse/pocket so that you can take one when your throat feels a bit scratchy or your nose starts to run. It seems for us if we take one as soon as a symptom appears we don't get the cold that apparently was coming on. Just as the package indicates, Umcka reduces the severity and longevity of a cold when one does get ahold of you. We have recommended Umcka to many of our friends/family. Seniors who don't believe in flu shots.

Since buying these products, I have not had a cold or flu in three years! Prior to discovering these products, I was a frequent cold sufferer - 3-4X a year! But not since discovering this. It is truly a miracle product. Look for any product that contains Pelargonium sidoides, a species of geranium unique to South Africa. UMCKA is one of the few great products on the market with this active ingredient. PLUS, there are NO side effects and IT WORKS!!!!!!! The key is starting it as soon as you have the first signs of illness. And shazam, cold be gone!

Got the flu on Friday, well by SundayNov 28, 2011

I can't say for sure if the Umcka is what saved me, but Friday morning I woke up feeling bad. By the time I got home that night after a day of horseback riding I felt horrible with fever, chills, headache, body aches. Started taking Umcka every 4 hours and drank a big glass of orange juice. Took Umcka every 4 hours all night. Next morning fever and chills gone but still had terrible headache and stomach ache all day. Threw up once after trying to drink a nutrition shake. Kept taking Umcka. By 4 AM Sunday morning I was well enough to go to the store that day and eat again. Usually I'm bedridden for at least 5 days when I get this. I'm going to buy a few more boxes now. Hubby started taking it as soon as I got sick as well. So far he's doing okay. Cured a resiratory infectionNov 19, 2011
By Jonah C. Laplante I was suffering from pain in my lower lungs, scratchy dry throat, a horrendously dry cough and fluid in my lungs. Since I'm allergic to most antibiotics and wanted to try a home remedy to cure my issues, I purchased this all natural remedy. This is the first of its kind that I've tried. It worked wonders. Within hours, my cough loosened and I was able to get all that nasty stuff out of my lungs. Keep in mind that I also was on a regimin of swallowing chopped raw garlic twice per day, running a cold air humidifier, drinking plenty of antioxidant max teas, and rubbing vicks vapo-rub on my chest to keep my air ways soothed and open. I went to the doctor and she said my lungs sound clear and I should keep up with the home care a few more days, no antibiotic needed. The benefit of this product for my personnal symptoms was the break up of fluid in my lungs for a more productive and loose cough, cruitial for getting rid of the infection. I love it!
