It is rare to find a toner that is non-irritating and does what it says it will. This toner does more than it says it does, which is why I'm now using the toner and face wash. Not only will this balance the oil/dry patches on your face, you can use this on other places of your body that need attention. It is perfect for sensitive skin and won't burn or irritate.
After cleansing with the Vitamin C Refreshing Facial Cleanser, you can use this product to encourage balance. I've seen some great results especially when I follow with the Avalon Organics Moisture Plus Lotion with SPF 18.
The orange color and scent has me addicted. This product is also the best toner I've found for my combination skin type. I think the papaya has an exfoliating effect, so you may notice a bit of flaking of skin when you first start using this product. That is just the exfoliating process.

I use the entire collection of Avalon's Vitamin C stuff and this is one of the products I will not go without. It is great to use after cleansing and leaves my skin feeling fresh. It has a great orange/citrus scent that is not at all perfumey or fake. It is also a great deal compared to what I have paid in the past for toners that are not nearly as good at removing the last layer of dirt and brightening up my complexion. To boot, I have dry skin and this stuff has never ever left my skin feeling taught or tight. Perfect stuff!

Most people don't know that Vitamin C actually breaks down the second it comes into contact with oxygen. Since this is not an air tight bottle any Vitamin C that is in it will not be active and will not give the benefits. However this is true of all topical products with Vitamin C in it.
I give it 5 stars anyway because I love this stuff! It has a nice citrusy smell that does not linger, it wakes you up in the morning as it revitalizes the skin on your face and it's ph balanced. This is my absolute favorite toner.

By JMarie Saw a Dr.Oz episode about vitamin C for your skin, ordered this and am very satisfied. Smells good, feels good and really does help your skin tone better.
