Great Deal, Great Product BUT in a larger SIZE CAPSULEJul 09, 2010
Carlson Vitamin D is a good product at a very reasonable price on Amazon. My only gripe is the size of the capsule is larger than it has to be. You can find other brands of Vitamin D 2000iu capsules 1/4 the size of Carlson. I even once received the small size in the Carlson product. Thus, I am surprised to receive the larger size Carlson capsules once again with my latest order. Not a big deal, but a nuisance to those who have to take a daily regimen of multiple pills.

Do NOT buy Carlson. Not absorbed after months of use!Jul 07, 2010
I bought Carlson brand Vitamin D after my Doctor told me I had a vitamin D deficiency (Based on a blood test). I took 2000 iu for 3-4 months with meals as directed. I just had another blood test, and I am about the same. Very little if any change after 3-4 months of Carlson Vitamin D.
I DO NOT THINK THIS BRAND WAS ABSORBED INTO MY BODY!
I an very disappointed with Carlson as I thought I bought a premium brand.
I will try another brand that will hopefully be absorbed and not just pass through my system.
I will read some more reviews here on Amazon, and hopefully find a better brand.
Don't waste your time and money on Carlson!

My doctor recommended I take 2,000 IU of Vitamin D. I dreaded adding another supplement to swallow and was worried about stomach upset from taking Vitamin D. No problems, this gel cap is so small, definite plus factor. One gelcap a day for 2,000 IU. Very pleased customer!
